I went to Mooring & Mooring Dental today as a new patient and all staff was professional and courteous. Everyone there went out their way to make me feel comfortable. I was totally impressed with the technician taking my X-rays and Dr. Christopher Sean Mooring explaining in great detail my examination in its most simplest form. Thank you all at Mooring & Mooring Dental for caring and your kindness towards all your patients.
Dr. Sean Mooring's office and his staff are amazing. I had emergency root canal last week. Apparently I had three abscessed (yes 3 - those long roots) and they were watching another tooth supposed to do a root canal today but in examining me I didn't have to have it. They have the latest technology, respond to emergency calls and are very compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend Mooring dental office
This was my 3rd visit. The first 2 were for periodontal cleaning. The hygenist was gentle and very patient with me. As a 73 year old with never a cavity in my mouth, Dr Mooring was very explanatory. He explained how he felt the cavities in my front teeth occurred. So, today when I went for my very first filling ever, I was actually very calm. Both he and the hygentist let me know what was happening and I was very pleased with the result. With my "Jesus" doll in my hand I was calm and peaceful.
Very friendly and professional. As a new patient, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Laurie at the helm of customer experience, was clear and informative when explaining current and future procedures along with potential out of pocket expense. The practice is warm, modern and state of art. Don't let that lead you to believe it's stuffy and cold, anything but; while sitting in the exam room I watched as one of Dr. Mooring's staff was carefully tending to the many bird feeders and the in ground bird bath. You see, during your appointment you get to watch calm nature in action. Mooring dental has made going to the dentist a great experience, not only for myself but also my teenage daughter and young son. At a recent visit Dr.Mooring and his team took their time to address concerns my son was having which easily could have been dismissed. My son said felt heard which made me so happy. They are simply outstanding and I'm thankful to have found a local family dentist that integrates advances in dentistry with simplicity.
I was switching from a longtime family dentist who retired to Mooring Dental when I came in for my first visit in May of 2026. I was immediately impressed by the attention and the welcome feeling that every staff member gave which made me feel right at home! After a tour of the modern office and staff introductions, they went right to work while explaining each part of the exam and cleaning process and making sure I was comfortable. At the end, Dr. Mooring went over any concerns and offered solutions and tips to keep my teeth in good shape. Overall, a top notch experience! I'm glad I made the decision to switch to Mooring Dental and have confidence I'm in good hands from here on out!
I was scheduled for a crown on a lower back molar. I expected an experience like I was used to with my previous dentist. Impressions, prep and leave with a temporary crown only to return in two to three weeks for my permanent crown. Much to my surprise and delight, the majority of the procedure is computerized. Detailed pictures instead of having impressions done. Yay! Biggest surprise was walking out three hours later with the permanent crown on my tooth! I am so impressed with Dr. Zombek, Kelly and everyone at the practice and thankful to my friend, Joanne, for recommending them to me when I moved to the area last year.
I have been going to Mooring Dental since 2004! As has my wife and 3 children. If that is not a testament to Dr. Mooring and his team of dental hygienists, I don't know what is. This is not to mention the administrative staff who are so kind and attentive. I highly recommend Mooring Dental.
First time coming to Mooring Dental and I have to say, they probably have the friendliest and warmest staff I've ever seen at a dental office. Sarah the hygienist was so gentle with my cleaning and did a very thorough job. Kelly the dental assistant was very nice and patient with my x-rays. Dr. Zombek is incredibly knowledgeable and super easy to work with. She made recommendations without being pushy or judgy and I felt absolutely no pain with my filling! Overall a wonderful experience with the entire staff and if you're looking for a dentist that will shoot you straight, then Dr. Zombek is your girl!
I am a 72 year olds male who has sat in the great many dentist chairs over the years. The experience at Mooring Dental was a surprise at how far the dentist industry has come. The office Is extremely comfortable and patient friendly. The staff are dressed professionally and always helpful with any question that you might have.
From the first phone call I was very impressed by their kindness and sincerity and trying to fit me in ASAP with my current dental issues. it just got better from there. I met the nicest ex Ray tech icing who walked me through everything and really made me feel at ease despite my smile being one of the things im most embarrassed about. Dr Mooring was also excellent. He explained everything along the way and did probably the most thorough exam I have ever had done. They came highly recommended to me from a family friend and I could not be happier I listened and scheduled the appt. I have yet to find a primary doctor but I ja e definitely found my primary dentist.

Mooring Dental popped up on the Net as I searched for a dentist to handle my specific problem. After researching, I decided to contact them out of several others. I am glad I did. The facility is clean and fresh. The employees personable, yet professional. And I found Dr. H. M. Zombeck to be thorough and knowledgeable. When I complete an entrance form in advance, I expect professionals to have read it before I appear. But that is not usually the case. However, with Dr. Zombek, her questions and comments told he she had read all of my information. How refreshing not to be asked questions that I had already answered on the forms. As with Dr. Zombek, Kelly, the assistant, and the hygienist were all exceptionally skilled at their work. Even the receptionist upon entering and the employee who tallied up my charges when finished were professional and friendly. I can't say enough good about Mooring & Mooring, DDS. If you want the BEST service and attention, this is the best dental service for you.
I was referred this Dental office by dear friends of mine. I must say for first impressions this was one of the most pleasant Dental visits, you run a great practice. I was really well taken care of today everyone there were so welcoming. I felt comfortable right away. The office is really clean and calming. This makes a big difference. The hygienist there Kristie explained everything so clearly and I really appreciated this, and most importantly she was very gentle. The Dentist came in after my cleaning, Dr. Mooring, he was very pleasant, explain things to me that made a lot of sense to some of my TMJ issues. I appreciate this. Upon leaving my appointment, I cannot forget the very nice receptionist, great customer. I will definitely be back and referring family and friends. I was very impressed.

I have always had a good experience with Mooring dental but i damaged a tooth recently, enough that I thought I might need a crown. But when Dr Mooring took a look he did some repair work instead and indicated that he thought that would do it. I was impressed he chose the way that would cost me a lot less than a new crown

I was so thankful to find this wonderful office. I was seen by Dr. Zombek, and she was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and very patient. She took plenty of time to explain everything and made sure I understood and was comfortable. It is also worth noting that she treated her assistant with the same kindness. The office atmosphere was calming...not chaotic or rushed. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming and efficient. As I told them, the dentist is one of my least favorite places, but they made it a very positive experience and I recommend them without hesitation.

I was visiting family when I broke a tooth and couldn't handle the pain. I didn't sleep all night so at Seven in the morning, I called about five dental office's and, this one was the only one to squeeze me in as soon as possible. Everyone was so nice. The place was so clean and beautiful. The rooms have large glass windows with bird feeders out front and the view is amazing. The dentist wanted to save my tooth, but I just wanted it out. He was so nice about helping me and very comforting.
I would like to give Dr Mooring and his excellent staff a 10 because 5 stars isn't enough. The care I've received concerning my jaw issues has exceeded my expectations. If anyone is looking for a new dentist I highly suggest this dental office. I just wish I would have met Dr Mooring 30 years ago.

We just moved to North Carolina and we were in the process of finding a dentist. Low and behold I had a crown pop off one of my teeth. I called the next morning and they got me right in that morning. My crown was reinstalled in no time. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the dentist was awesome. Mooring Dental is now our new dentist.
